My Favorite Star trek Beauty To Star In New Major Film!

My Favorite Federation Darling, Miss Linda Park, is to star in a new major motion picture with the fantastic Ed Harris! It is the Look Of Love, and damn, she's got it! Linda has it going on! I first had the pleasure of meeting Linda in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2007. She reeks talent and grace.

The film also stars Annette Benning and the incredible Robin Williams. Robin, is a powerhouse comedic actor as everyone knows, but he is also a fantastic serious actor and can be quite creepy!

In soon to be published books, I have written several characters myself, specifically with Linda in mind, so I am super-pleased she has landed this role with Ed Harris (who was superb in Pollock!)! Linda, we adore you as Hoshi Sato, but your talent is that of Shakespeare quality. Full ahead, warp 7!

The President and Re-election

It would look to the average reader that President Obama should make mincemeat of Paul Romney or whatever Palin-esque sham they have come up for a candidate.....

However, President Obama has caused some MAJOR PROBLEMS for himself regarding his easy re-electability.

I will spell it out for you---

HYPOCRISY.

CANDIDATE OBAMA was the "Progressive brother" when he needed the FREAK vote (read cannabis vote, and we are now REALLY VERY ORGANIZED) especially in California. We have crucial electoral votes he must have to win.

He has gone back on his word to the medical marijuana community. He has resumed Republican-started anti-cannabis prohibition, busts and actively obstructing groups from following State laws and local laws regarding medical cannabis administration. He has sucked ass on this! He has made many powerful enemies on this and is actively losing support. There are many in the weed community who now wish Hillary had won. My God, man, have some balls and stand up for your brothers and sisters who go to jail for nothing, motherfucker, Mr. President.

The timing of this announcement regarding the president's views on gay marriage caught me by surprise a bit.

However, it was a happy surprise. To hear the president of the US finally say something so simple and logical and fair. How remarkably candid and unusual! As most Americans support the rights of LGBT to marry, it was not sticking his neck out as far as some people have been implying. It is not like he is stating he supports legalizing medical POT! Now that would be just too much fairness, too just and simplistically logical. Too much truth for the American public. We don't want to confuse them!

STATEMENT BY SECRETARY CLINTON

Sharp Escalation of Regime Violence in Syria

The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms the escalation of the Syrian regime’s violent and brutal attacks on its own people. In the past few days we have seen intensified Syrian security operations all around the country which have killed hundreds of civilians. The government has shelled civilian areas with mortars and tank fire and brought down whole buildings on top of their occupants. The violence has escalated to the point that the Arab League has had to suspend its monitoring mission. The regime has failed to meet its commitments to the Arab League to halt its acts of violence, withdraw its military forces from residential areas, allow journalists and monitors to operate freely and release prisoners arrested because of the current unrest.
The Security Council must act and make clear to the Syrian regime that the world community views its actions as a threat to peace and security. The violence must end, so that a new period of democratic transition can begin.
Tomorrow, I will attend a United Nations Security Council meeting on Syria where the international community should send a clear message of support to the Syrian people: we stand with you. The Arab League is backing a resolution that calls on the international community to support its ongoing efforts, because the status quo is unsustainable. The longer the Assad regime continues its attacks on the Syrian people and stands in the way of a peaceful transition, the greater the concern that instability will escalate and spill over throughout the region.

Russia will not back a new draft resolution on Syria, its deputy foreign minister said Monday ahead of the UN Security Council's debate over the latest Western-backed proposal.

"The current Western draft has not gone too far from the October version, and, certainly, cannot be supported by us," Gennady Gatilov told Interfax news agency in an interview.

"The draft has statements in it calling on the member states to stop arms deliveries to Syria," he said.

"But there is no clear line between arms contraband that some countries engage in to support extremist forces in Syria, and the legal military-technical ties with this country," he said. [AFP]

Opinions have "evolved" within the UN Security Council and more members are now willing to back a draft resolution criticising Syria for its protest crackdown, a French diplomatic source said Monday.

"The balance within the Security Council has evolved" concerning a draft resolution on Syria in the wake of the latest bloodshed, the source said.

"At least 10 countries" of the council's 15 members could vote in favour of a draft resolution, the source said, adding that the most hostile council members were Russia and India.

"The new non-permanent members of the Security Council are more convinced of the need for a resolution," the source said.

Morocco, Togo, Guatemala, Pakistan and Azerbaijan joined the council as new temporary members this month. At the same time Brazil, which had been among countries resisting action in Syria, lost its place on the council.

The opposition Syrian National Council warned on Monday of a possible "massacre" of hundreds of young men rounded up by security forces in a town near Damascus.

It voiced "fears over a possible liquidation of hundreds of young men that Syrian security services have gathered in a public square in Rankus," 40km north of the capital, in a statement received in Nicosia.

The SNC called for the Arab and international media "to act quickly to follow this issue".

Security forces "raided Rankus this morning, backed by tanks and rocket-launchers ... and launched a campaign of arrests," it said.

"The authorities have cut off electricity, telephone lines and water. They have imposed a siege on Rankus, preventing food and medical aid from entering" the town of 25,000 inhabitants.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said earlier that troops penetrated Rankus after shelling the town which had been encircled for six days.

The rights group and activists at the scene said army deserters pulled out of Rankus as troops moved in. The assault reportedly cost the lives of two deserters and left dozens of civilians wounded. [AFP]

Thousands of dollars for a state-funded helicopter joyride

It’s unbelievable. While Chris Christie – New Jersey’s radical Republican governor – has been slashing funds for education and Medicaid, he has been racking up thousands of dollars for a state-funded helicopter joyride to his son’s baseball game and a political dinner. What’s worse, Gov. Christie tried to stick taxpayers with the bill. According to New Jersey’s The Record:

“There is no fiscally defensible reason for using a state helicopter to attend a child's ballgame. Even if the state were flush with cash, which it certainly is not, [Gov. Christie’s helicopter joyrides are] a prime example of government waste.”

Gov. Christie is now desperately trying to repair his shattered image, but we’ve seen enough to know what he really is: a hypocrite.

It’s a race to the bottom! While Gov. Christie is busy wasting taxpayer dollars on his personal helicopter joyrides, other Republican governors across the country are busy diving deeper into a radical agenda that isn’t sitting well with… anyone. In fact, voters are waking up and feeling greater and greater buyers’ remorse for the Republicans they sent to office. Florida Governor Rick Scott is the least popular governor in the country – with just 29% of Florida voters approving of the job he’s doing in office. Gov. John Kasich is not far behind, earning a dismal 33% approval rating from Ohioans. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker isn’t doing much better, with the latest polls showing that, were the election held today, Gov. Walker would lose by a full seven points.

Like robots, they mouth the same old lies, jargon and scams they have always pushed.....tax breaks for the richest segment, massive increases in "defense" spending (arms sales), starting unprovoked wars on sovereign nations......yes, Republicans!

They also want to kill ("death penalty for") doctors who perform abortion and call themselves "pro-life!" So, anyone

who has read Orwell can see that they engage strictly in Newspeak--that is, all is backward and rigged. They move and vote and watch tvand shit like the lemmings they are.

With pardon please (to the lemmings) for the comparison, in office the Republicans do the opposite often of what they said they were going to do (like some Democrats!). And their mouthpiece/bullypulpit, "Fox News" is a wretched lie and propaganda fear machine. Lemmings became notorious in popular culture because of a myth that they commit mass suicide when they migrate. Dog Days For Diane

It has simply been painfully farcical to observe Sen. Feinstein's votes (she, the self-proclaimed

"LIBERAL," Ha! Citizens, I beseechyou, look at her voting record on vital and progressive

bills---look at what bills she wrote or co-sponsored. I, for one am sick and tired of hearing HER

at ALL, or seeing that wicked gnarly facies....and/or her touting her record in San Fran and

how "liberal" she WAS! "Was" is the keyword here!

When did the blowhards of the "Grand OLD Party" buy Diane off? My best hypothesis is that

she was a "mole" from the beginning, even at San Fran, and her true mission was to screw over

the common man/woman, (this is the mission of the entire GOP) and God did she! The

repugnicunts have had Diane in their slimy pocket for a long, long time.

It is time we get this harpy out of office!

I suggested Barbara Lee of Oakland to the Democratic Party--she would do a good job and

cares for the poor and middle class. She is strongly anti-war and would pressure Obama to end

the 2 wars we (America) started. She would be ideal, because she is a proud liberal who

ACTUALLY VOTES THAT WAY! (Like Bobby and Ted Kennedy did.)

Come on people now, elect Barbara Lee as Senator of California!

Or if she won't do it---( I HAVE suggested this to her staff before!)----then some other very liberal person, like Matt Gonzales--anyone fairer and much more liberal than D.Feinstein!

In Sacramento, the Bay Area, and LA, we are blessed with plethoras of LIBERAL folk.

Hello Barack

I called the President today. We had a nice 20 minute conversation. Glad he was able to take

my call. Respect. I had a litany of complaints for him.

And a few kudos.

I did it publicly on a cellphone in a public park. Some people may have overheard some

of it, because at times I had to shout at him. But we are cool.

I still believe in him. But, I pulled no punches about the things I feel

he has majorly goofed on (using the "g" word to substitute for what I really said...)

and wtf was he Thinking?

We both had a good laugh when I mentioned that theRepugnicans, after the pigs shamelessly

(because they are not BURDENED with a conscience..) heinously clusterfucked and

gang-raped lady liberty for most of my adult life, with the near-completed attempted

fascist coup of "NINE ELEVEN," starting two unprovoked wars just in the last few years,

etc., etc., etc ad nauseum, now are pointing a crooked finger at him and crying "Socialist!"

ha haha hahahah hhahahaha ahahahahaha ahahahahahahahahaahahaha! WFLOAO!

I said, "Sir, if ONLY you were a socialist, or better yet, a dyed-in-the-wool Communist!

Not only would the USA finally become a free country---- at long last....but I would be tempted

to come to Washington and kiss you on the mouth!"

All, in all, it was a pleasant conversation. I strongly suggested a national holiday for

Malcolm X. Lots of conversation about the direction of the Space Program.

Next call, I will have my notes ready, so as to be less rambling, b/c I know

he is very busy. And he knows I am too.
